No I am not Polish or Russian but I am Maltese, I hail form the Island of Malta - to be exact, from Gozo the sister island of Malta.

I started my musical ventures from when I was little studying the violin as my father insisted. However this was not the medium I wanted to use to express myself musically. I always knew that I wanted to sing and I took my father by surprise when I said to him I am studying the voice. I did not need an extension to my body to do music but I had this instrument within me – ready to be exploited. Still, I am grateful to my father who pushed me to study music from a very small age, which helped me to become a better me in so many ways.

This passion for singing took me yet to another path of forming a choir back in the tiny village of Xaghra – Schola Cantorum Jubilate that is the choir I acted as a conductor for these past thirteen years. A choral conductor involves a lot of different roles in it. A choral conductor has to be a teacher and this is what I do professionally. I teach music to young aspirants back in Gozo in our School of Music.
